Grant Funding key to start-up EcoCascade

Obtaining success from Grant Funding is key to getting start-ups operational.

Cait has been working closely with EcoCascade CIC support them as a social enterprise to obtain grants and recognition for the innovative approach to supporting the seaweed community in the West Coast of Scotland. Obtaining funding for equipment and infrastructure as well as financial support for the first employees of this new enterprise. EcoCascade have also achieved a win with the Scottish EDGE business competition – a valuable endorsement of their strategy and ambition to provide the first dedicated seaweed processing facilities for the West coast.
